Pourtant, ces syst\u00e8mes restent relativement n\u00e9glig\u00e9s par les sciences sociales et humaines &#8211; alors m\u00eame qu&rsquo;ils sont ins\u00e9parablement d\u00e9finis par des infrastructures et des technologies, mais aussi par des institutions, des croyances et des comportements. L&rsquo;exception est \u00e9videmment l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie, qui en association avec l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie a forg\u00e9 une image tellement \u00e9vidente qu&rsquo;on n&rsquo;y pense pas : les enjeux de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie r\u00e9duits au financement des infrastructures qui lui permettent de circuler.<\/p><p>Cet aspect des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques est certes important, mais il n&rsquo;en \u00e9puise pas la compr\u00e9henion. Public and private institutions \u2013 even science itself \u2013 are regarded with suspicion, with sometimes corrosive consequences.\u00a0<span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">There&rsquo;s certainly no way of designing and implementing a strategy for environmental transition without a minimum basis of trust in its knowledge base and in the institutions responsible for it.<\/span><\/p><p>But how does trust actually work?
